This Privacy Statement governs who have access to this App including but not limited to members, committee members of the management, any such other designated persons, volunteers of JVVPS, etc. (hereinafter collectively called as “User” or “you” or “your”). The words “we” or “us” or “our” or “JVVPS” as used herein, refer to Jain Vadhu Var Parichay Sanstha, a registered charitable trust under applicable laws. The users applying for melawa or registering the profiles on JVV App are hereinafter referred as “Candidate”.

This Privacy Statement for Volunteers applies to JVVPS Committee App. This JVVPS is committed to safeguarding its users’ privacy. We request all our users to read the following ‘Privacy Statement for Volunteers’ to understand how their information will be treated, as they make full use of our services to their benefit.

By visiting the App you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Privacy Statement for Volunteers. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our services. 

1. Information We Collect
   For this App, JVVPS collects User’s personal information which includes but not limited to mobile number and name. The same is registered and credentials are shared to the User. Only person who is registered can use this App not otherwise. For the purpose of credentials the mobile number of the User is required. This App is specifically used for the internal management of JVVPS and its Users and no other individual can access this information.The App collects/process information including but not limited to :
   
   • • Melava Pustika (Booklet) of all categorised melava containing profiles of Candidates.
     • A matrixed list of Candidates 
     • Seating arrangement access of melava
     • Attendance of the Candidates
   • Information automatically collected
     We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the services. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our services, and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes. This may include:
     • Log and Usage Data.
       Log and usage data is service-related, diagnostic, usage, and performance information our servers automatically collect when you access or use our services and which we record in log files. Depending on how you interact with us, this log data may include your IP address, device information, browser type, and settings and information about your activity in the services (such as the date/time stamps associated with your usage, pages and files viewed, searches, and other actions you take such as which features you use), device event information (such as system activity, error reports, and hardware settings).
     • Device Data.
       We collect device data such as information about your computer, phone, tablet, or other device you use to access the services. Depending on the device used, this device data may include information such as your IP address (or proxy server), device and application identification numbers, location, browser type, hardware model, Internet service provider and/or mobile carrier, operating system, and system configuration information.
   • This information collected herein above is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our App, for troubleshooting, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.
2. Disclosure and Sharing of Information
   Any Candidate’s personal information accessed or processed in App by JVVPS and/or User shall not be disclosed outside and all the security measures are taken to protect the data. It will be the responsibility of the User to not share login credentials with third party. JVVPS and/or User shall maintain the confidentiality of information processed in the App and shall not share or disclose outside. In case of such breach or unauthorized sharing of information/data will lead to legal consequences and actions against such Users.JVVPS and/or User may disclose Candidates information to respond to summons, court orders, or legal process, or to health department or any other Government body as and when required by them for collecting or processing health information of the state/country. JVVPS and/or User may disclose any information that JVVPS and/or User may have about Candidate, if JVVPS determines that such disclosure is necessary in connection with any investigation or complaint regarding Candidates use of the App. JVVPS and/or User may preserve any communication by Candidate with JVVPS through the Website, and may also disclose such data if required to do so by law or if JVVPS and/or User determines that such preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary for verification of Candidate. 
   This Privacy Policy does not apply to third party links/websites and we are not responsible in any manner for third party links/websites.
3. Retention/Deletion of  Information
   Candidates Personal Information will not be kept for longer than necessary. In addition, if Candidate asks to delete Candidate’s records, we will erase any Personal Information we have in the App. JVVPS retains Personal Information of Candidate for as long as necessary for the use of its services or to provide access to and use of the App, or for other essential purposes such as complying with its legal and contractual obligations, resolving disputes, enforcing the agreements and as long as processing and retaining Users or Candidates Personal Information is necessary for the purposes provided in the present Privacy Policy, because these needs may vary for different data types and purposes, actual retention time can vary significantly. When any User’s disassociate with JVVPS then that User’s access and profile will be deleted. To delete Users Information or data it may take up to 07 days. After the information is deleted, it may take us up to another 15 days to remove it from backups and disaster recovery.
4. Security
   JVVPS is committed to the security of Users and Candidate information and for that JVVPS in general takes all the reasonable security practices to protect such personal information and safeguard the interest of User and Candidate. All the information of the candidate is selectively anonymous and visible to Users as per their designation, post and scope. If any global privacy law requires additional measures then such additional measures will be followed by us. However, no data transmitted over the internet can be 100% secure. As a result, any information provided to JVVPS is done at users own risk. JVVPS is not responsible for any breach of security or for any actions of any third parties that receive your personal information. Notwithstanding anything contained in this Policy or elsewhere, JVVPS shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage or misuse of your personal information, if such loss, damage or misuse occurs.
5. Cookies
   JVVPS, may use cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, mobile device IDs, flash cookies and similar files or technologies to collect and store information in respect to your use of the services and third party websites.  Most browsers are set to automatically allow cookies however you may disable cookies through your devices to the extent permitted by such device. Most cookies are “session cookies,” meaning that they are automatically deleted from your hard drive at the end of a session. Use of this information helps us to create a more User-friendly experience for you. You are always free to decline cookies if your web browser permits, although doing so may interfere with your usage of our website. Refer to the help section of your browser, browser extensions, or installed applications for instructions on blocking, deleting, or disabling cookies. We encode and protect our cookies so that only we can interpret the information stored in them. You may encounter cookies from third parties that we have allowed on our website that assist us with various aspects of our website operations and services.
   
6. Assignability
   JVVPS may assign any of its responsibilities/obligations to any other person without notice to the User, at its sole discretion. However, User shall not assign or transfer any of its rights under this Privacy Policy to any other party, unless a written consent is taken from JVVPS.
7. Changes to Our Privacy Policy
   JVVPS reserves the right to update or change this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by placing a prominent notice on our Website/App.
8. Governing Law And Dispute Resolution
   This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of India only without reference to conflict of laws principles and disputes arising in relation hereto and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Pune and at the exclusion of the courts at any other place.
